Background InformationBorn in Guernsey, Fleur Winter currently lives and works in London, working to commission and teaching ceramics alongside her practice. Her work has been exhibited internationally in Istanbul earlier this year and will be in India this coming September. This particular work celebrates the unique and abstract qualities of the human body by focusing on particular points of articulation. This in turn allows the creation of dynamic abstract vessel forms. The sculpture portrays the sensuality as well as the strength and individuality of the female figure. It also represents the fluidity and individuality of the human condition. If interested in this sculpture please contact the artist at info @ fleurwinter.com (remove spaces from address) or visit her website (www.fleurwinter.com) to see further works. |
