The start of the exhibition recreates the feel of an active archaeological site

This exhibition is all about engaging the visitor with the reality, excitement and serious purpose of archaeological research. Our designer and his team have gone to great lengths in the entrance of the exhibition, to create the authentic feel of an excavation site and even managed to re-create a small trench. The clothes for the 'digger' in the trench are completely authentic - loaned for the purpose by our own staff archaeologist!
