One of our local excavations, at Lihou Priory, was featured on the BBC's 'Meet the Ancestors' series

Julian Richards, the programme's presenter came over to open the exhibition and give a lecture about the series. An edited version of the Lihou programme is running in the exhibition and some of the many finds from the site are on display. The four illuminated 'pigeon holes' visible towards the centre of the image contain pieces of decorated Caen stone, which once formed part of the priory church.
