A GENIUS UNDECLARED
Horticultural Works by William John Caparne (1856-1940)

This exhibition of watercolours and drawings by plantsman and artist W J Caparne, is a collaborative effort between Guernsey Museum and the Royal Horticultural Society. This year the Society celebrates its bi-centenary; it is especially fitting that the island which became Caparne's home and where horticulture remains important, should participate in the festivities with this exhibition. Visit the exhibition to find out why...

Photographs and Sketches of Normandy
Photographs of Normandy by Katia Boyadjian and Sketches by Daniel Juré
This collection of works is the culmination of two summers of wanderings across the Contentin (north of Manche) and time spent living on Tatihou (an island accessible at low tide off Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue in the east of Manche) access to which was offered to the artists in order to carry out this project.

Over and above the aims of the two artists, the originality of this work lies in the fusion between visual art and poetry.
