Brick City

St Pancras

2 April - 3 July 2022

What is Brick City?

It is an exhibition of over 25 models of iconic buildings from cities around the world, recreated in LEGO® bricks.

Who made all the amazing models?

Artist Warren Elsmore and his team.  It is a touring exhibition and was previously in the USA.  After the Guernsey tour, it is going to Edinburgh.

What can we expect from the exhibition?

It is the ultimate around-the-world tour in LEGO® bricks.  It's not just about bricks though - it's also great for learning about geography, history, design and culture.  You can discover highlights of cities across all seven continents, from New Zealand to New Orleans, New York to Mecca - and medieval Japan to modern Las Vegas.  There are new urban highlights among more recognisable icons. The centrepiece is the magnificent 180,000 piece London St Pancras Station.

When can I visit?

The exhibition is open every day 10.00-17.00, including Bank Holidays. The final day is Sunday 3 July.

Do I need to book a ticket?

No, we do not take any bookings.  Just turn up and you can buy a ticket on arrival.

How much does it cost?

The price to visit Guernsey Museum at Candie is:

£6.50 - Adults

£2.00 - Children (under 18) & students (with valid student card)

FREE - Children under 7 years

FREE - Discovery Pass holders and accompanying under 18s with them

Entry to Brick City is included in your Museum admission price.

Can I see some photographs of the exhibition before I visit?

Yes.  Please download our visual guide below. You can always contact us on 226518 or  We welcome education bookings and can arrange out-of-hours access for special groups. Please contact us for a chat.

I am visiting with children - is there anything extra for them to do?

Wonderful!  Brick City is for all ages.  Most of the models are for admiring and not touching, but there is a 'graffiti wall' in the lobby for children to get hands-on with.  Also in the lobby, you can pick up a trail or questionnaire for the exhibition at no extra charge. (Don't forget your sticker on the way out!)  You can read a review of Brick City by IslandFamilies here.

I like a quiet Museum.  When should I visit?

Rainy days are usually the busiest and sunny days, especially during school time, are normally the quietest.  We hold a Quiet Hour every Monday 16.00-17.00 and there's more information in the visual guide below.

How can I find out more about access?

Guernsey Museum has been fully audited by AccessAble.  Click here for detailed information about the Museum in general - including access, parking, toilets, background music and more. If you find the exhibition font too small, there are large print folders in the lobby.

We hope you have a wonderful visit.
