Rocquaine RegattaThe Rocquaine Regatta has a long and distinguished reputation for fun. A full day (and evening) of free entertainment and activities for both the young and young at heart, including beach and stage events, sandcastles, inshore swimming and sailing, as well as raft races, 5-a-side football and volleyball and even a mini-macho contest. Held on Guernsey’s beautiful southwest coast, there is also free entry to Fort Grey, Maritime Museum. |

Christmas ActivitiesLast year we featured 1950s post-war themed Christmas displays and activities for all the family, set in a reproduction Guernsey parlour. This year we will be offering more activities realting to Christmas past and the Discovery Room will again be appropriately furnished with contents, toys and games, as well as dressing-up items, to remind visitors how times have changed. The museum shop will be stocked with interesting Christmas gifts and Café Victoria will be offering seasonal minced pies and mulled wine. |
